Is it okay to use olive oil spray, olive oil regularly?

I want to make banana muffins, but we have only virgin olive oil extra virgin. The recipe says to use vegetable oil and I know the song is used extra virgin olive oil and vegetable oil. olive oil spray is us to regulate the olive oil, but I'm not sure if this is acceptable for use. Help me please.
